Here's a picture from a survivor car. There were 4 rubber bumpers (you can see one on lower right), which were installed to minimized vibration of the 8 track assembly.

I'm not sure why mine has the single goofy hole. Have to look for old pics to see if the deck was in it when found. Hole doesn't look like any others I have seen.

They are not critical. I will send you a picture with dimensions if you like. To my knowledge they aren't reproduced.

I would think the bumpers may be reused from a different application maybe? Door bumper of some sort. Kind of an odd shape though

It appears also the fasteners used to attach the console door to the hinge on the survivor are small 6 point bolts rather than the standard phosphated pan head Phillips screws.

Yes interesting it's a very early 69 9B Nor car, and I've only seen that on two other rather early cars. Its my favorite car lemans blue with blue deluxe rs/ss L34, m21, 373 with 24K miles. Untouched except exhaust system. Orig owner changed the chamber to transverse system because of noise. When I purchased from him in late nineties I noticed it had the chamber hangers still on the car and questioned the orig owner.
