Default Ed Schoenthaler RIP

Just received the sad news this morning.

"Ed Schoenthaler lost his battle with cancer on Saturday. Visitation is Wednesday, 4/5 in Hinsdale. His obituary should be in the paper today or tomorrow. Judy Schoenthaler passed away 11/2014 and she also died from Cancer. A loss to all of us.
Patt Barrett"

RIP Mr. Ed.

We lost a really wonderful person, again.
Here he is at last years Oak Brook Fathers Day carshow with his 1936 Auburn 852 SC Cabriolet.
I stopped by to say hello and he was floored @ the attention his car was getting.
Just one of the many cars he owned, that he really loved.
R.I.P. Mr ED..

Not everyday I find someone with the same last name as mine. Then to find he was a huge part of the Chicago muscle care scene was very cool.

When my dad sold cattle to the old stock yards, there was an office just outside the gate with that name on it.Always wondered who it was. Ed told me that was his dad's place of business. Solved the mystery after all those years.

Was an honor to have known him. A very gracious guy. Wish I'd have gotten to know him sooner.
