Default pitman arm - fast ratio 227 PS wanted

Anybody have a fast ratio pitman arm that they are willing to part with or trade for a manual arm? Pictures of manual - nice part.

Bergy, I guess I'm confused as to which pitman arm I have. Its hard to read the casting number on the one you have pictured. Is it 3953327 BGMT5?

Mine is 3953227 GMT1B. It is on an early 69 manual box that I have had for years so I assumed it was correct for a manual.
Thanks!

The pitman arm 227 is the quick ratio, and used on both manual and power steering, however the PS arm has a much larger splined hole. Again the casting # is the same, but the power and manual arm are not interchangeable.

Steve is correct (of course) - larger hole on the PS arm. Also, sometimes has a "P" stamped by the hole.

Thank you Gentlemen!
Bergy, Now that I know what to look for I do have two more pitman arms that I will check as soon as I can get to them and if one of them will work for you I will get back with you.

I have this one it is very good shape with no play. It doesnt have a P or M stamped it has a double hash mark, but it measure more than a inch in diameter at the box end.

My parts are in PA and I'm not there at the moment. Can someone confirm "greater than 1" on the box side" is the PS arm?
