back in the days of Dearborn Steel Tubing
im doing some polishing work for a fellow named Jack Fuche
he sent me some old pics from back in the day winning a "top dog" race ay Detroit Dragway in 62 in a 61 Starliner winning the A/Stock class at the NHRA summernationals in 1961 at Indy got disqualified for valve shims being .030 too thick he said he ran a/stock because he had metal front clip,the other guys had fiberglass.

the guys that built the Thunderbolt
(car behind them is fiberglass Galaxie with 406 tripower) Phil Bonner's fiberglass Galaxie they built the first Thunderbolt built for competition. Jack bought the first one sold retail

Skinny is a dear friend of mine. His first ride with Tubing was the only 427 Truck ever made. It was the real deal and is currently under restoration. Here he is back in the day

He loved them later on a bought a 68 390 GT from me and had all of his contacts build it for him. It is a bad ass machine with a 428 CJ. He is still drag racing today.
