Re: Rare 1967 Camaro Z/28 For Sale on Ebay
Wow, cool car. Best writeup and photos I've seen. Interesting the block is described as original to the car whereas one of the documents lists a CE block. So, was the CE block one originally raced with, or was the born-with block subsequently found?

Re: Rare 1967 Camaro Z/28 For Sale on Ebay
The original block was owned and kept by the original owner because a new short block got put in when the car was not even a year old. The person who restored the car asked the original owner if he could borrow the original block for a car show (I have a copy of the signed document agreeing to the loan) and then never returned the block. Bogus deal and not cool at all. The owner at that time was not a US citizen and the original owner wanted and tried to get the block back but he had no effective way of doing it. It has been sold and then went through a couple of auctions since then.
