found a muncie case 3925660 tail 3846429 side cover 3950306 vin 19W432890 build date P9B03C is this a nova m22

Chevrolet by the numbers 65-69 shows
3925660 used in 1968-1969
3846429 used in 1965 (not correct for this transmission)
3950306 used in 1969
P...muncie 4 spd
9...1969
B...February
03...3rd day of month
C ....M22
19W.. Chevrolet 1969 Willow Run assembly plant

Probably started life in a Nova and at some point swapped into a Pontiac?? I believe they used the 429 tail up to '70? Nice find..I'd be interested..

so i am guessing it should have the 3857584 tail housing

That is a 69 Nova M22 box, pretty rare...

except for the tail housing being wrong the inside looks great
