Default '68 Z/28...Buyer Beware

Here is a claimed 'numbers matching' '68 Z that was not so back toward the end of 2016 (this car is 124378N479990, but it has the engine from 124378N428329). Also started life as a gold car although the current seller claims it has been 'rotisserie restored to original state.'

The hobby is bursting with lies and deceit. It's as bad as I've ever seen it.

With these cars, it's become more common to assume the car is a clone than to believe it is real.

Likely the most commonly cloned car out there ever.

Yes, I would recommend anyone looking to buy a 68-69 Z-28 to educate yourself on these cars first, read the Definitive Camaro books by Jerry, and talk to other experts before laying down the cash. All to easy to get caught up in the fluff and emotion.
