Default NOS Diverter Valve(s) ID?

I have two (2) NOS Smog Diverter Valves and I'm stumped on determining what they are for. Does anyone know please?

Thanks

First one is marked "46171" (picture #1 and 2)
Second one is marked "29293" (picture #3 and 4)

The #293 is any 1969 Chevrolet car with either a 307cid or 327cid,and both with Auto Trans. only.

The full part number for '29293 is 7029293 Group 3.670. As Mr70 says 1969 with 307 or 327 but with a correction. Not used with auto, use with manual trans only.

The '46171 cannot find it, but since it has only one fitting for a hose it would be a 4 or 6 cylinder application.

I dont think 1969 chevs w/automatics came with smog, so WorkinProgress is correct in the above response.

The second valve would be 7046171 and was originally for 1972 Vega GT and was later succeeded by part number 17052771
