Walric Chevrolet was named after two brothers who were indentical twins the other dealership that they owned was Frame Chevrolet in Mineola, I will forward along the dealer # for these 2 and I might have a list somewhere in my files of all the dealers for 27

My father was a mechanic for walric chevy in bayshore from the mid 60's till they went out of business..
He worked on many of muscle cars that they sold.
He said they use to store the new muscle cars in a warehouse up the road off of 5th ave in bayshore..

Also add Giles chevy in port jefferson as a performance car dealer.. have proof of 1969 copo camaros sold new there...

Hoffman Chevy was on Franklin Ave in Franklin square.

Interesting you mention Walric and Frame. I have a few sets of dealer plates from those dealers. They have stickers on the backside. The Frame plates are a chrome foil sticker, and the Walric is a white reflective sticker. I will try to post a picture.

Owner Bobby Brown raced Corvettes, a Camaro in Trans-Am, and mostly Lolas in Can-Am.

I have a loaded 1969 Malibu from Bay Chevrolet. Does anyone know if they had a dealer emblem or license plate frame that they put on cars back then?
