Default Groth Chevrolet Huntington Beach California

Any dealer info/history or dealer items ? About 5 years ago I purchased a 32,000 original mile ,unrestored ,"survivor" 1970 RS Z/28 That was sold there on October 2 ,1970 to a gentlemen from San Pedro . There is still a Chevy dealership at the old address , 18211 Beach Blvd. It appears to be the original building due to the old service bays, parts dept, any info, pics ,anything would be much appreciated !!!

I was recently able to make contact with the original owner. Ive owned the car since 2011, even though I had his name from the POP. Ive never took the time to research it. Until Joining this site motivated me . Very cool guy & some pretty cool stories about the car. Now if he can just find the pics he thinks he "still has somewhere"

Cool news Jeff and a great result to your backtracking!
Are you planning to get together w/ the OO and your car?

Beautiful car, good sleuthing skills. My boys are in H-beach. If you track something down, they may be able to help. Have you checked antique stores in the area?

Someday hopefully ? he"s still living in Orange county. But the cool part of story is his 44 year old son only lives 20 miles from me ! and he is the reason the OO sold the car, Being his wife hated putting the car seat in the back

I goggled the OO's name, and came up with a handful of guys in his area & age range. But I couldn't get any specific contact info, except one guy had a State Farm insurance firm. So I emailed him thru his company. So low & behold it was him !!! he called me 1st thing the following am, Not sure who was more excited ? me or him ?
