Default 1969 Mustang 428 CJ 4spd w/ day II 427 side oiler

Just wanted to see if anyone had some idea of what a garage find estate 1969 Mustang 428 SC R code, 4speed car that been sitting for 30+ years is worth. Original owner car bought new here in Phoenix and day II pulled 428 engine and put 427 side oiler in it, and has a spare 427 Side oiler engine with a truck load of parts, and from what I can tell some rare dual quad manifolds and heads. We are Chevy guys 427 COPO's, L78, Z/28 crossram cars ect... This Ford stuff seems to be a rare find but trying to get a feel for it... Kind of over our heads...lol Here are a few pictures of what we got. Thx, Mike Kaiser 602-540-3073

If the car has an interior in it , with no engine it is worth 20k . You have a CJ C6 trans , cast tail housing 2k . You have a Toploader $1400 . The headers are impressive, no holes $ 700.00 . The dual quad intake with carbs and air cleaner is $ 1800 .00 The Sidewinder is the first intake $ 1000.00 . The two bare dual quad intakes are rare but have a limited use. $ 800.00 each . You need to get the Engineering Numbers on the heads to see what you have there , those are FE parts. The aftermarket FE shafts with stands are $ 300.00 . The FE blocks need sonic testing to see if they are good. They could be $ 1500.00 to $ 2500.00 JE piston set need identifying for sure. The carbs on the intake with the air cleaner need to checked for a Ford number or if they are a Holley part. One last thing, the number on the part is the Engineering Number and NOT the part number.. If the car has the correct dated nodular case in it , it will have an N cast in it. The date is on the left as you are facing it. There could be a lot of good stuff there !!!! That should help a little. My prices are what you could sell them for , not if you held on to them and milked every dime out of them. Also , check on the hood scoop ..

Your Sideoiler stuff is worth the most . Just depends on if was racer stuff or virgin stuff .

Nothing much to add here. A friend of a friend just bought a stripped but rust-free 69 R-code 4-speed fastback with no drivetrain, trim, interior or glass. FWIW, he paid $10K and felt good about it.

BTW, love the pics with the two '9ers side by side.

I am always surprised to see what is still out there. The Cobra builders like the sideoilers to add value and originality to their cars. I think it would be cool to see the car back on its feet with a 427 in it. And a Marti report would be a cheap investment for a car like this.

Thank you for posting Mr Kaiser.

Thanks guys glad to share and thank you ScottG for the info. It was a cool find! Not knowing much about these Fords, thought it was a wild card with all these rare parts...if anything might be great trading material for a high horse type 69 Camaro or 70 Chevelle...lol Mike Kaiser 602-540-3073
