Default Cowl Induction Air Cleaner Stickers

Before I peel off the backing and stick them on, just want to confirm proper placement.

HP designation band is self-explanatory
AC Filter sticker - driver side, centered from top to bottom?
427 cross flag - does bottom of sticker go right against the recessed edge of the lid or is it spaced up away from the edge?

Photos on line show lots of different placements, particularly the 427 flag sticker.

TIA for the help!

Jim

Positioning was somewhat random, no dimensions. Filter sticker centered.

Thanks William. Honestly surprised at this info. It looks like the HP sticker does not go on the outer diameter (flat part) of the lid. Both the HP and the CU IN go inside the flat outer ring. I'm out of town right now, but will look at it again this weekend.

This is the way I place mine. I don’t recall ever seeing them placed like the AIM picture shows them. I quess it’s personal preference.

My 1970 Chevelle/Monte AIM shows the same pic William posted with the long Horsepower label directly under the cross flags, dated June 1969.
Then there is an amended page after it dated August 1969,showing the HP sticker is re-positioned onto the outer step of the air cleaner lid.
