L78 flywheel info??
A quick question for the L78 stick shift boys....What flywheel was offered in the 70 Camaro? My car has always had the 403 bell with the L88 lightweight flywheel. I think it was changed by the previous owner but maybe not?? Any ideas??

Rich, The correct bell for a 70 L78 is the 621 bell. Also my 70 L78 has a 3973456N flywheel. But I think it's a service replacement due to having a late 1971 date code. I can check with a few other 70 L78 owners to see what they have.

The correct flywheel is the 3973456. That's what's in my L78 too.
