Very cool color. Added hood & wheels looks great! Have (both hoods) fiberglass hood to go with car but more correct with the steel hood and a X cut out on the bottom...

Yes - your car was built with the steel "flat" hood. That's the way it was built by Ford. What most did was to remove the steel hood and either add the 1966 fiberglass lift off scooped hood or buy a fiberglass replica scooped hood which allowed the use of hinges.
