Default Restoring rubber breather hose

Has anyone successfully rejuvenated rubber hose? I want to restore a small 3” air cleaner breather hose. There are no cracks but it’s not very pliable. I’m reluctant to try some of the things I’ve read online for fear of damaging the hose.
Thanks,
Mike

I have had reasonable success soaking the piece, usually overnite, in vinyl and rubber condidioner. I use the Mcguires product.
