Radiator tank codes

can anyone tell me what these tanks are for?
IA
CF

I know that an IA code is for a 3 core side tank for Chevelle Etc..
But the other code i do not know.

donnie, do you have a whole radiator, or just the tanks. i am in need of an IA tank for my 70Z project. UPS did the tarantella on mine when shipped! according to the nova research group. it is a 3 core 70 man trans radiator. probably fits alot of models. is there a tag still on the radiator. that would narrow it down more.

Donnie what car is the radiator for? I have a bunch as an example this December BQ with tank codes IA XJ(L78/LS5/LS6 4 speed if I remember correctly) - let me know and I will dig them out and take a look for you.

IA and CF are Auto trans tank codes use on a bunch of cars for 2 and 3 core rads. SN code is 'I believe' a Monte for a 400-2 small block (LF6 265hp Turbo-Fire).

when I bought the 69 L78 Chevelle it didnt come with the correct radiator. so I'm looking for one now.
came across the one I'm asking about for sale just trying to make sure its right for my car.

from what Phil told me I need IA &amp; XP tanks with a BJ tag.

I take it you have an auto?

BJ tag had IA and XI tanks in 70.
I thought for 69 it was BR, but I'm not the Chevelle expert.
