Wow. Wow & wow. An amazing look at Americana (and some Canadiana too!) and our love affair with automobile.

I have been surfing the net since 1997. I have a few thousand posts over at Team Chevelle and post on other places on the net too.

This is, hands down, *The Best Post on the Internet.* Ever. Period.

Thank-you.

Dog, the Bossa Nova Camaro is amazing. 1968 right? 6 years after the Carnegie Hall show with Joćo Gilberto, Tom Jobim and others. It seems that Ron Tonkin dealership is still there. I send them an email asking about the car but it won't work, as we now. Anyway, for me who lives in Rio de Janeiro, the home of Bossa Nova, that pictures is a gift. Dog, you started something here... Thanks again!

An old family friend Danny Young (right) and me on the left by his drag car about 1975. He raced at Quaker City in Salem, OH.

Lavery Chevrolet Alliance Ohio 1972. This was the originating dealer for ZL-1 #65.

Verne, I think Cal Method was a west coast (Washington State) racer if my memory is correct. I believe his wife Maryann Method may???still race. They have been around for years.

Appears to be a '68 just based on the cars in the dealers lot

Thanks for the history guys
Notice the #61 on the wagon. Maybe he had a soft spot for the old Nomad.........
