1970-72 GM stamped coupe quarters

1970-72 GM stamped quarter panels. If you’re not aware CARS, Inc purchased the dies from General Motors in the early 2000’s. They produced the quarter panels until they sold them to Goodmark. Goodmark produced them for a bit of time and around 2005 GM and Goodmark got into a dispute as GM wanted more money for the licensing on the quarters and Goodmark decided not to produce them any longer. I probably have some of that wrong but pretty close. The reason for the long post is to explain the quarters produced currently by Goodmark are “not “ from the original dies and do “Not” have the numbers stamped into them. Ask any of the well know Chevelle restorers and they will tell you the same thing. Priced a lot less than NOS GM panels. Pickup in Minnesota or will assist with shipping.
