Default 1969 GTO Judge RAIV inquiry

Back in the mid to late eighties I was at the swap meet in Carlisle, PA looking to buy a car when I came across a stunning silver 1969 GTO Judge RAIV for sale. The car was advertised as being a POCI national champion; the asking price was $10,000.
At the time I had $8k cash with me, made him that offer and I think, had I not been so young, he might have taken it.
I think the owner figured some young kid is not going to buy my pride and joy only to beat the crap out of it.

Anyway, that car made quite an impression on me and I was wondering if anyone on the site might be familiar with the car and know if it's still around. I am in no position to try and acquire the car now, just curious about it.

Thanks, a lot of Judges listed but, I don't think the one I am referring to is there.

My search terms didn't cut/paste correctly, so you might as well set up your own:

This Judge registry is specifically for 69's, and i saw at least two just like the one you saw. Look for A1293, R1650
