40 years gone
40 years ago I graduated high school in June. I spent most at that summer on a houseboat on a lake front cottage of my best bud. At night seeking out Hot cars , races or cruising for chicks. I thought I was dreaming, early this morning 40 years ago I heard a somber radio message of the death of Elvis Presley..... 2 hours later I actually awoke, Mentioned to my buddy,,, Wow, I had a weird ass dream that Elvis is dead. That instant....the radio flashed breaking news as did the TV. Elvis Presley dead at 42..........I was numb ! Lady's & Gentleman ; Elvis has left the building. Where were you in '77 ? I sure watched alot of TCM Today....Memories
