Default Does Woj have a problem???

Sooo, I came into town for the Mopar Nationals earlier this month. I was fortunate to have Phil and the lovely Lori open up their house to me for two days on either end of the show. Making cameo appearances were Grady and Rich. What a great time!!!!! Mikey was strangely absent, but I'm thinking it's because Kelly wasn't with me! I also spent some time with my Cousin in Bordman whom I haven't seen in 20yrs. Overall, it was a great visit. But one thing struck me a little odd. Lori yells to Phil across the house, "Honey? Do you know when my keys are?" Which Phil replies, "Yeah, Babe...on the custom granite kitchen counter top, right next to the phone charger, newly issued Caramel M&Ms, and the 1970 Date coded Quadrajet from the Goat...."

Knowing this was Phil's sad attempty at humor, I had to just go over and see this for myself. I mean...Caramel M&Ms?!?!!? I knew he was lying!!!! But here's the proof!!!!!!

What a time we live in!!!

Cheers

Dave

Sorry I missed you Dave. Lori is the best, based on a Quadrajet on the kitchen counter
Are you home ? Getting wet ? Hope there are no major problems for you two.

Mikey

Yeah....home. I was supposed to head out on a trip tomorrow, but I got removed from my trip by the Chief Pilot in Miami so I could weather this storm. He even asked "Is the Bee and rest of the cars safe!?" Then got a call from the other Chief in DFW I'm friends with checking to make sure all was well with things. Great guys! Then, Mr. MCACN checked in too! but I think he was just worried about Kelly!

Cheers

Dave

Well, it all started with Dave asking where quadrajet numbers are stamped, this was in reference to his latest Pontiac acquisition. Since this is actually a Chevy Qjet, I let him know where they would most likely be found. Anywho, the Qjet ending up on the counter for a day was a good laugh for all of us. There is usually some small car part on the counter that was just delivered by mail or is heading out to Grady or Mike for one of their projects.

The visit with Dave was great. He was actually one of the few guys that could masterfully drive the 502 '69 Chevelle Post car with ease and confidence right out of the gate.

Glad you are weathering the storm well.

Phil W.

Yeah, maybe that's how it actually went down, but yep....my warped mind immediately saw a funny post photo op!!

You guys are more than hospitable hosts, and the doors (and shop) are always open here for us to return the favor!

Looking forward to seeing you guys again in November!

Cheers

Dave
