Question 12-Bolt carrier NOS?

Does anyone have a 1968/9 NOS 12-bolt posi carrier case that they could use to check a few things out for me?

I bought an "NOS" case, but it has an assembly date and paint inspection marks on it.
It is rusty from sitting, but does not appear to have ever had bearings installed on it, or a ring gear installed.

I will post pictures tonight after I get it cleaned up a little more.

Only thing that I can think of is that it was a service carrier assembly that has been gutted in the past.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Eric

I think that I answered my own question when I cleaned it a little more. The only marks that I found were from the teeth of the cross-pin lock-screw. I believe that it used to be a complete service unit.
Here are some of the pictures anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion on Evaporust. Found some locally. I will post more pictures after cleaning.
The case turned out to be a F-4-J dated COPO case. Wish it was still a complete unit.
