Correction to my earlier inaccurate post -- transfer case has been changed from original Rockwell T221 to the supposedly better New Process NP205. Date code appears to be 1974.

Proof that I should stick to what I know (64-67 Chevelles) !!

The NP205 is about the best transfer case ever built for light weight vehicles. No chain and no front drive unless in 4WH, 4WL. Parts and service are still widely available too, where the Rockwell may not be as much.

What Mitch said! In my long ago life as a dealer driveline tech opening up a 205 was rare, unlike the chain driven 203's.

Earlier this week I was able to put eyes on this Burb and crawl under it on a creeper, (don't need a jack LOL!) it is way more cool in person and the underside/frame is awesome!!
