Default 4 speed shifter rebuild service and Shift rods

I have a 68 firebird with a super T-10. I have the shifter pictured below, 3138 body and handle out of a 69 camaro. that i would like to have mechanically rebuilt, not worried about the condition of the handle. I also need everything to install this shifter on the T-10 in my firebird brackets, hardware, levers, clips etc.

Any help is appreciated
Casey (708)-287-2914

He's busy looking at a move. I'm waiting for pics too. Might need to PM him.

Hi Casey, it's Bill from NH. Met you a few years back picking up that 427.
Are you looking for correct linkage for the 69 Camaro shifter- or just anything that will work?
Be advised- if you want to bolt that shifter to a ST-10, you'll have a bit of trouble with the adaptor plate. The 69 used a different bolt pattern on the trans tail shaft housing- so you can't just use the stock Muncie shifter plate.
I just modeled and 3D-Printed this Plate yesterday- it is exactly what you need to use the stock 69 Shifter with a 70-up Muncie or ST-10.
I just put a 1970 M22 in my 69 Z28, and used the original shifter.
The 70+ shift levers are different too- but they swap right onto the linkage rods no problem.

I had to make a mounting plate similar to that when I installed a ST10 in a '69 Camaro.

I put a ST-10 in my 65 GTO- but I was able to use a 71-81 Camaro Adaptor Plate.
Worked perfect- even with the factory console.

That plate won't work with the 69 Camaro factory console though

I talked to Casey this morning, and explained the the difference between the small bolt circle 27 spline tail housing, and the large bolt circle 32 spline tail housing (late Muncie and Super T-10) and that I have shifter mounts and installation kits in stock for 1967-8-9 Camaro’s big block or small block, 27 or 32 spline, Muncie, Super T-10. And Auto Gear transmissions.

Hope this helps… Crash
