I'm waiting to get it registered in Arizona. But now that you remind me I don't think I have done a burnout with it.

In all seriousness - some of the guys I work(ed) with drove those as company cars.

I had a magazine laying out one time, on the cover of which was a red 70 Chevelle SS with black stripes. One of the "old" guys strolled by and commented "Oh! I drove one of those as a company vehicle back in the day...".

Then, as sort of an afterthought, he quietly added "...it got terrible gas mileage".

He walked off, leaving me sitting there speechless.

There was a write-up on this car and other Survivor cars from the show last November on MSN homepage today.

I loved looking at this car, but every time I got near it an alarm went off......
