It appears to be 1000 off, XX3021 for the trans, XX4021 vin and block pad. My '66 L72 vette has a block pad one digit off the vin also. I guess it happens. In my case, the block pad is indisputably untouched but it'll always cast a little doubt to be original to the car I suppose.

Subject VIN 114270W364021 Transmission stamping 10W363021 If Canadian delivered new, you'd expect the sellers would be onto the GM Canada Paperwork but best check w/ George and Frank to be sure... https://www.vintagevehicleservices.com/options.html If Trans stamping digit an original mistake, there may be others in sequence the same? ~ Pete .

Something's fishy.....trans stamp is 19W363021 and engine stamp is 19W364021....those were usually stamped at the same time with the same stamp

70 L78 Nova..
"this car was not restored every thing you see is original condition"....OK
..the VIN number issue between the trans and engine is certainly a problem. Looking at the front end you will note the SS emblem is installed upside down on the grill and the headlite bezels have been changed...this car is no virgin. The dark photos make it difficult to really see any details...Canadian documentation will help clear up some questions. I also see it has the rear sway bar which would be consistent with a late build 1970 car. Measure twice/cut once. -wilma
