Re: 1969 Nova SS 396-375
For me this type of car is a gold mine of information. However it may not mean much to others. Worth is in the eye of the beholder. Sully is right about going off the scale. Originals tend to do that.
In the end it depends on what you are going to do with it. If you tend to be like Bergy, you could end up hurting the value of the car if it gets fluffed or restored. It is only original once and that adds to the mystique and hence the value/price. If you do get let let me know. I'd love to document it with my camera for the project database. Greg

Re: 1969 Nova SS 396-375
A little more info...he has the salesman's card, a guy named "LiL Joe Clark",specialized in muscle cars at that dealership....known as "LiL Joe Clarks Pit Stop"....kinda cool history....undercarriage of this car is spotless...(literaly clean it with detail spray), interior trim is absolutley perfect, right down to the poor fit of the carpet from the factory, (trimed short around console and kick panel), no cracks in dash pad, no scratched glass....etc. Has a few minor mods....gauges, headers, but has the original manifolds, and possibly the original exhaust stored away...has the protecto plate. Every original body panel,NO RUST-NOWHERE! I last rode in this car in 1981....always stored in dry area....probably has not seen the road in 20 yrs......but he does maintain it and ocassionally start it....believe me this thing fires right up and sounds like day one....awsome....this one will be a tough buy!

Nice job Jan. Its a wonder what you can do with some software manipulation. I've been getting into experimenting with it a bit these days.
THis Nova sure has the right look...

Re: 1969 Nova SS 396-375
I agree on 75+ They are only original once, then god only knows what happens to them when they get restored. I find new things on my survivor L78 car all the time, its amazing.

Re: 1969 Nova SS 396-375
Boy I would like to get my hands on some of those Funston Chevy Old signs...
Does anybody know how many code 10 white colored 1970 L78 Novas were made??? I own one and have been unable to find that kind of info.. Somebody just the other day at a car show was asking me how many of that color combo were built.. This fella who asked me was a mechanic at Ed Stinn Chevrolet during the musclecar "hey day" and he told me that he didn't recall ever seeing any in the lot, either L78 or small block SS cars.. He had lots of interesting stories about the 69 COPO Camaro Cars that Stinn ordered. He said he remembered 10 of them lined up in front of the building when they arrived in 69.. He said he is "kicking himself" that he never took any pictures of them... Rich

Re: 1969 Nova SS 396-375
It would be nice if they had records of paint combo's. Anyone else ever see a burnished brown with black top L78 nova before?

Re: 1969 Nova SS 396-375
One of my friends paid $57.5 for this car,
