Default '72 442 W30 Post car @ Mecum auction

I'm not a buyer, don't know the seller or anything about the car...just couldn't help but notice this black W30 Post car listed for next week's Mecum auction.

I saw it and couldn't get too excited; the stripes on the front fenders are.....let's just say I can't get excited. If it hits the auction estimate, my '72 just went up.

I like the weird '72s like this post and the Cutlass hardtop, of which 17 W-30s were built. In comparison, the Cutlass S hardtop wouldn't interest me.

It's good to see the 72's get a little love.

But then, I'm just a little biased.......

I still think about that white with black stripe post car that messed up at Russo & Steele a couple of years back. Like the negative to this one. That car was all original I think.

Cool cars from a starnge time in the auto industry.

I'd love a '72 X code Cutlass S. Orange, black automotic.
