Safe method to Clean Power Brake Booster
I need to know the best method/cleaner to safely clean my original power brake booster for my 1969 L-78 Survivor w/o damaging the gold finish.
Anyone w/ any experience please chime in. Thanks Darrell |

Re: Safe method to Clean Power Brake Booster
Try WD-40 & BRONZE wool first, steel if it's really bad....I've had good results with this in the past.
Work slowly and gently,in small circles while applying the WD liberally. If really bad, soak it in WD-40 overnight or for a longer period of time. Wipe constantly to see your progress and stop once/if the Gold ir. appears. Take your time. |
