Rest in peace, Joe. In 2013, when 14 year old me really got into the Day 2 thing, I salivated over the 2nd Camaro he built a few years back as a tribute to his first.

'89 Mustang GT- 3.55, subframe connectors, muffler delete, and a couple other minor mods. Exactly as he wanted it, so how it shall stay Also: 1995 Ford F-150 XL 2004 Dodge Ram Hemi GTX- #192 of 433 Ain't no fun in viewing your car as an 'investment'. Get out there and beat on it! I think I've read his book a million times. His son is the editor at KBB I think, and we've corresponded before. May Joe Rest in Peace.

His book and those old issues of Hi Performance Cars are some the best reading there is for muscle cars from the 60's and 70's. I still dig them out periodically to go through the old issues. Prayers and condolence's to his family for their loss.

His road tests and writing style were simply the best. Huge loss.
