69 Z/28 JL8 for Sale
I am pretty sure this car has been discussed here before- http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Chevrol...BZmhjv&vxp=mtr.
I wondered what the opinion was as to its autheticity? |

that is the worse ad... all fluff...
I would run from this car... the VIN is too late to be an original JL-8 car. My X-33 JL-8 car was May build if I recall correctly. Although interestingly enough I've owned original JL-8 'production' rears dated very early 69 (Jan-Mar)and late 69 also. I even had an NOS housing dated 1972. I suspect them cancelling the option mid year may have been to do with lack of front JL-8 parts... (just a guess) The ad says RS a few times, but the pics are non-RS???? Besides many other things.... funny Last edited by iluv69s; 08-22-2017 at 01:08 PM. |

Agreed, the ad was terrible and the lack of any photos or documentation was a red flag. Nonetheless, wouldn't want a LM JL8 car to possibly slip through my fingers without at least making sure it wasn't legit. Thanks for the info.
