Received shipping report for a 1966 427 Corvette and it listed it as Zone 0 Dealer 568. It then goes on to say "GM Division MI" I proceeded to look up Zone 0 Dealer 568 on the NCRS Dealer Code Data section and it listed that as being CPC Tonawanda Engine Plant. Was the car a GM executive car at the Tonawanda Plant in 1966 or was the car a test car at the Tonawanda Plant in 1966? Being that the car wasn't produced until January of 1966 I would think that it would be late in the model year to be a test car? Any members here work at the Tonawanda Engine plant in 1966 or know of anyone who worked at the Tonawanda Engine plant in 1966 that may remember a 1966 Corvette 427 Convertible Silver Pearl/black interior.

Might have been an employee working there who ordered it?

Just got my paperwork back from NCRS dealer code 9 zone 39 ed black dealership Just to let everyone know last year I sent in my 50 for info on my car, A month later I got a letter saying no info on my car. That realy put a damper on my search I gave up. Some of you that received the same letter you might want to resubmit your VIN again maybe they rushed my number without realy looking carefully, it wont cost anything if they don't find your car. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR SEARCH

My 70 Trans Am show up on The PHS invoice as selling from a Tenn. dealership but it sold new from a dealership in Ft. Meyers Florida. I'm sure many cars never saw their selling dealership noted on manufacturers records.

Got my NCRS report back the other day on my 1970 Chevelle. Sold out of Burt Chevrolet of Englewood Co. I have talked to all of the previous owners except the original owner. The second owner bought it in 1972 and brought it to Kansas where it has been ever since.

Burt sold out to John Elway in the last few years. I found a build sheet from a 70 wagon up here that was a courtesy delivery from Burt to a dealer in MA

Default Dealer info

Just putting this out there again. If you have dealer zone and codes with no corresponding dealer name or information, let me know and I will see if I have any information in my database.
