Front end crash between 1986 and 2002. I've got about 40 to 50 hours in body work in hood alone. One of the owners rear ended an other car in town. At that time still had 456 rear gears. He also hit curb with right side of rear wasting the 12 bolt. I had the clearfield votec autobody instructor repair the nos fenders.

Chin spoiler was gone when I found it in 2002. I live about 3.5 miles from the owner that had it between summer 1975 and 1986. He is the one that put it on. I'll ask him if he remembers. Owners between him and I about destroyed it. Air compressor mounted in trunk to make it go up and down. Controls for that mounted to dash. Big blue fuzzy dice, suicide knob on steering wheel, 4 or 5 sets of lights mounted under car to rear end, traction bars. Old house shag carpet put in when they spiled yellow paint. Painted 3 point rollbar in car. Cut holes in good door panels for speakers for the am/fm 8 trackthat was installed. Soon as I can get the pictures put on disc from the day that I found it in 2002 I'll post them. Airshooks were so high that there was at least 5 to 6 inches of clearance between flare and top of tire. As soon as I saw it I knewn it had to be rescued.

No the 12 bolt was gone. Broadcast sheet says L48 from factory. But as early as 1975 was a 427 crate. I think my friend still has those numbers. 427 now somewhere near Bellefonte Pa. Had 780 holly, no name long tubes.

Also, front bump is '70+. Good idea to resto it back to when you originally had it!

I know that most don't care for the flares, but that's how it's been since the first time I saw it. I grew up during the time of the streetfreaks. To me they make the car. If they are not reinstalled it will be mini tubed, but I do prefer the flares.

You know I'd never noticed the wrong year bumper. But it looks like it's been wrong even before Dave got it in 1975. I knew it was wrong when I got it in 2002. It even had rust holes in the bumper they bondoed over and painted it black.
