Re: Enclosed Trailer
Hmm, me thinks you must be getting closer to having something newly restored to haul around.

Re: Enclosed Trailer
Hey Sam!
Getting closer. I promise I'm going to post some pics from "find" to "show" when we're done. Figured I'd start looking for that trailer now vice the 11th hour run around. Plus, I may be able to get some practice backing up with it BEFORE the car is in it....

You're killing me...Actually I contacted Kenny P last week wrt his trailer. He's got a great piece, and I'd take it in a heart beat. I only have 5 thousand reasons why I can't buy Kenny's. So, the search is on!! |

Re: Enclosed Trailer
Lee, 24-26 ft trailer is a lot of trailer for a Camaro/Chevelle I bought this new Pace 22 footer this past summer and it is plenty long enough for my Chevelle. I have a foot and a half in the back and 5 feet in front with the Chevelle loaded. If your limited to $5,000.00 you may want to think about a shorter trailer. I find that the 22' is perfect for my needs. Remember it has to get into gas stations, restaurants, hotel lots, etc. Just a thought.

Re: Enclosed Trailer
I have a 20' Featherlight with a V nose that stops at about 22' and it is fine for hauling a show car and some junk in front of it. If you are going racing you will want bigger just like I do to haul tires, tools etc.

Re: Enclosed Trailer
Lee: have you priced new trailers? Granted it was 2 years ago, but we bought a brand new 24' Haulmark with some extras (interior kit, extra lights) for right at $5k from a dealer outside of Springfield, MO. Granted, it isn't full of chrome diamond plate & Pit Pal goodies, but it's been a great trailer...and when you buy used you never know how many curbs those axles have hit...just a thought!

Re: Enclosed Trailer
I just bought a new 20 foot pace enclosed trailer over the summer. I walked out the door tax, title, registration, and I think it was just over 6300.00 I have had ny 68 nova in it with plenty of room and I have also had a 67 chevelle in it, again fit great. It all depends on what you need!
