FYI:

Muscle Cars
"Last" Daytona to be sold
After 37 years, the last still unsold 1969 Charger Daytona is up for grabs at Mecum’s 19th annual Spring Classic Auction May 25-29 at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Belvidere, Illinois.
This 100-percent unrestored car was in the showroom at Dressler Chrysler-Plymouth in Covington, Virginia. William Dressler Sr. was the dealer and had been a Chrysler-Plymouth dealer since 1950. Only 503 Daytonas were built and there were orders from dealers for about 12,000 wing cars. Dressler had a friend at Chrysler’s advertising agency and was able to obtain one of the rare birds. This car is a 440 four-barrel car with an automatic transmission. It sat unsold and was shuttled back and forth between Dressler Chrysler-Plymouth and a second dealership 12 miles away. Mopar expert Frank Badalson has looked at the car and he has said that every piece of it is 100 percent factory legit.
The car was placed for sale in May 2004. Whether it was sold since then is unclear, but the car remains on MSO, according to Mecum. You can own the last "unsold" Daytona, but dig deep. These cars are worth a minimum of six figures, plus this car is 100-percent original—not to mention capable of 100-plus mph in the quarter-mile. It is unlikely that whoever buys this car will subject it to any drag strip or highway use however.

Anybody want to take a guess at what that car will go for?
