Thanks for the update Bill. I vaguely remember that car being for sale and told myself it was indeed a rare bird. Too bad it is not to be given a second life.

Thanks Bill...I have since heard the car was flipped to a guy on the east coast. He may take more of an interest in restoring it than the previous owner did. It would have made a neat bookend with Charley's black L89!

I know of a orange one been under resto for the last 30 yrs,has a buildsheet and pop sold locally.
