I'm the same way...nothing changes the look of a car more than wheels and tires.

I like that you chose whitewalls. Very popular in the 1960s, but it seems nobody likes them anymore. Everyone wants white letters, redlines, or blackwalls. The whitewalls really "fit" on a mid-60s car - especially a full size.

A friend of mine has a 59 Corvette -- has wide whites ... would look like crap any other way ... TAZ

Thanks.. Yeah I really like the white walls rather than raised white letters or black walls.

Looks good Rich. I know that car well. My parents bought a new 67 Impala, 2 door/beige with black interior. We stuffed all 7 of us in that car all the time. Lots of great memories.
