Default Norwood

Were there some cars that escaped from Norwood with NBR instead of NOR stamped on the trim tag?

I ran across a 69 Camaro the other day and the owner claimed this happened. Not doubting him, but I had never heard that before and was wondering if anyone knows the answer.

Key punch error made on roughly 1500 or so IBM cards resulted in the error in 09-A.

The key board is where the clerk was seated. Build data was entered into the system here that created the IBM cards that were then later fed into the production computer. This system also created the punched fields that caused the generation of the body plate (trim tag)

Trim tag and vin numbers discussed in the CRG thread are close to the numbers on this car, so it appears to be legit.

Thanks for the help.
