Default 1969 Nova L78 Kentucky

My Dad recently passed and I ran across old photo's of a car he raced back in the late 1970's at Edgewater and Thorn Hill Drag Strips in the Cincinnati/N. Kentucky area. The Nova was supposedly a burnished brown L78 396 car that went by the name "Shakin Bake". The car had 307 emblems on the fenders but I was told that was to hide the larger engine size when street raced before becoming a strip car but who knows. I would like to know if the car still exists or if anyone has info on its whereabouts. I have no vin info on the car whatsoever.

There's also a Lost Muscle Car page on Facebook you might want to check out.

Facebook is how I found my Camaro that I lost all knowledge of for over 30 years, so best of luck.

If it helps the car used to run around the streets of Fort Thomas and Newport Kentucky. I think it was sold to a guy named Donnie Cropenbaker. I have heard two stories: one that it was back halved then destroyed, another that it's still around.

The guy was local in Kentucky and would have been in his 20's or 30's making him 50-60 years old today.
