Default MCACN 2017 Official Unveilings List

We are down to the countdown, and ready to announce the cars that are on track to be Officially Unveiled at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show this year. We will kick off the Unveilings at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, with non-stop unveils every fifteen minute. This includes several multiple unveilings, so plan on joining us early to witness real history in the making!

Here is the list by year. Exact times will be announced the week of the show, but you don't want to miss any of them!

1968 Ram Air II Firebird; The Hard Times drag racer. This is the actual car that was campaigned by Truman D. Fields in NHRA and IHRA drag races and Sponsored by Motor Wheel. Presented by Mark Weymouth, Michigan, Restored by Ross Gregory of Marquette Classics, Michigan.

1968 Chevrolet Camaro, Yenko YS 8023. This Yenko 427 Camaro has incredible history as a special order “Drag Car” with a long list of unique features. Presented by Kevin Suydam, Alaska, Restored by Super Car Workshop, Pennsylvania.

1968 Shelby GT500 KR. Any GT500 KR is special, but this one is over the top. This is a Paxton Supercharged and fuel injected prototype, amazingly one of two being shown this weekend, and this one also features special order paint. Presented by Kevin Suydam, Alaska, Restored by Timothy Lea Restorations, Massachusetts.

1969 Dodge Daytona; This may be the finest example of a 440 powered Dodge Daytona in existence, restored using only original and N.O.S. parts. Presented and restored by by MCACN Official Sponsor American Muscle Car Restorations, Inc. Rhode Island.

1969 AMC SC/Rambler. Believe me when I say this is a car unlike anything you have ever seen. Showcasing their incredible diversity, this NHRA certified street legal all AMC screamer is over the top. And to make it even better, there is a very special twist that you will have to see in person when the cover is pulled off! Presented by Scott Tedro/Kenny Maisano and the MASCAR team, Restored by the MASCAR team, California.

1969 Shelby GT500 Convertible; This is #000025, making it one of the earliest ’69 GT500’s in existence, with many unique features. Presented by Rick Campbell, Restored by Rick Campbell and Jim Cunningham, Indiana.

1969 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV Convertible. This RA IV drop-top is believed to be one of just 40 4-speeds built, making it among the most desirable GTO’s ever built. Presented by The Brothers Collection, USA, Restored by Level One, Colorado.

1969 Ford Mustang Ford Drag Team Pro Stock; This is the original 428 powered West Coast car campaigned by Ed Terry. Presented by Dave Steine, Wisconsin

1969 Ford Mustang Ford Drag Team Super Stock; This is the original West Coast car campaigned by Ed Terry that is powered by a 427 SOHC engine. Presented by Dave Steine, Wisconsin.

1969.5 Dodge Super Bee 440+6 pack; Remember this original M-Code 440-6 pack, 4-speed Bee from our Barn Finds & Hidden Gems area back in 2014? Presented and restored by Dave & Kelly Molnar, Texas. (Please excuse the owner of this one...he is a real piece of work!)

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 426 Hemi. What could be better than a Plum Crazy Hemi Challenger R/T? This prime example joins us from Arizona. Presented by Lowell McAdam, Restored by Ward Gappa, Arizona.

1969 Ford Mustang Super Cobra Jet 428 Convertible. This is one of the rarest and most desirable Ford muscle cars ever built. Presented by R. Scott Tedro/Kenny Maisano and the MASCAR team, Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor MASCAR, California.

1970 Buick G. S. Stage 1 Convertible. We are truly honored to have NHRA Pro Stock World Champion Jason Line joining us with his own G.S. Stage 1 convertible. Yes indeed...Jason is a real car guy on and off the track and one of us! Presented by Jason Line, North Carolina.

1970 Plymouth ‘cuda 440-6 Convertible. This is one of the ultra rare Export model ‘cuda Convertibles. Presented by Jurgen Stanley, North Carolina, Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor Apex Autosports, Wisconsin.

1971 Plymouth ‘cuda 440+6 barrel. Another prime and rare Mopar from the Apex team. Presented Darryl Wischnewsky, Texas, Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor Apex AutoSports, Wisconsin.

1971 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Convertible. Here is another that was previously shown in our Barn Finds & Hidden Gems area! (2016) This rare and exceptionally high option convertible is one of just 110 built. Presented by Jeff & JoHanna Stolowski, Michigan, and Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor Magnum Restorations, Illinois.

1971 Plymouth Sport Fury GT. Seeing any ’71 Sport Fury GT is a treat, but adding to the rarity is the fact that this one also has a factory sunroof. Presented by Dave Arent, Michigan, Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor Magnum Restorations, Inc. Illinois.

1971 Plymouth Hemi ‘cuda; Known as The Blood Money ‘cuda, this car was purchased in pieces at a U. S. Marshalls forfeiture auction several years ago. Presented by The Buzby Family, Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor Frank Badalson’s American Performance, LLC. Virginia.

1973 Pontiac Super Duty Trans Am. This represents what many consider the last of the true 70’s muscle cars. Just 252 Super Duty Trans Ams were built in ’73, making this one of the hottest and rarest performers of the era. Presented by R. Scott Tedro/Kenny Maisano and the MASCAR team and Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor MASCAR, California.

Thanks and congrats to the owners and the shops that made the commitment to Unveil these cars at MCACN. This is an incredible group and the most diversified brand wise to date.

I also need to mention that we have nearly 100 additional cars of the 500+ total that are being shown for the very first time. Now that is a fresh show!

Please help us spread the word about the show and bring your friends and family. Our show is totally dependant on spectator gate, so we need lots of people to buy spectator tickets to keep the momentum going for many more years.

And yes...preparations are already being made for 2018 and 2019, and as always, we welcome and encourage your feedback and suggestions.

Let the countdown begin!!
