Jason: Any reason you are stuck on single slope?

I believe there are a lot more options with the standard gable roof. Most of them allow you to pick door options. Unless you are wanting something out of the ordinary, there is likely a kit that will fit your needs. No new design work or custom features will always be less expensive.

Lots of kits available in that size and MOST offer help with the permitting process.

GJ would be the place to check on reviews of individual companies.

Good luck. BTW, if I were not in the historic district, I would be considering a metal building. No can do.

Lynn,

Yes, I want to do a single slope for a few reasons. Most importantly, I live in a narrow valley and height of the building with sort of disappear into the hillside with the single slope design. I am on just under an arce(a lot of land for this area) so the building will be right next to my house and the single slope should help keep the building from dwarfing the house too much. Also, I'd like to keep lifts/storage in the rear of the building so the tall rear wall is nice.

Thanks for all the input guys. I will look into the options you suggested next week.

Jason
