I never got the VIN, Pete. There's a CON VIN stamp on the trans in the current eBay ad, but not sure if that's the original trans or not. Don't want to post something erroneous, as this whole deal is questionable enough as is. I know it's the same car because I had a picture of the Trim Tag from 8+ yrs ago, and there's a picture of it in the current eBay ad, and they are the same.

I have a scan of the phony build sheet that the guy in Nebraska sent me 8+ years ago, but it's too large a .pdf file to post here. When Grady & Mike looked at the car for me the seller at that time made no mention to them of any build sheet. Only two possible reasons for that:
1) He knew that Grady & Mike knew their stuff and would have laughed at that build sheet, or; 2) The guy in Nebraska made up the sheet. I do notice now that the CON VIN on the trans (shown in the pictures of the current eBay ad) matches the VIN shown in the upper right corner of the fake build sheet, so I think I'm reasonably safe in assuming that the VIN of the car is 136379B349701.
