mikes words...."I actually had the car in 78 I sold it in 83 and that picture is how I found it again in 86
It had been in the barn like that since the week after I sold it. No one ever drove it....I had the tow bar on it

hello so here I am... First post and the GS is mine. Thanks for the invite Mark! I would upload more pictures but that size thing will take someone else to get them downsized.

Resize is easy. Right click on the picture and select EDIT. Use PAINT to edit. At the top left of the paint window there is a RESIZE button. Click on it and be sure that percentage is selected. Set the size to about 25% and click on SAVE AS. Then change the name so that you know this is the smaller size of the picture. That should be enough to let you post it here.

Cool story. Similar story, good friend of mine found a '70 Stage 1 'vert in a field in WNY around '78. Had diamond plate welded to the bottom of the fenders. #'s matching and was restored in 90's and last I heard, sits in a collection in PA.

Pics would be great!

More Kansas Krew, huh? I'm located about halfway between you guys. Back about 20 years ago, a buddy of mine traded some mud tires to a guy down by Westmoreland for a 70 Stage 1 roller. Also, there was a brown 71 Stage 1 sitting in Summerfield KS. for years but I'm not sure whatever happened to that one.

Saw on FB that same guy who posted up the video of that unconverted Nova another video of a "barn-find" '70 GSX Stage 1 in white. The story was that it had been sitting for 30-ish years in a garage with something like 13K miles or something.

Textbook case of when you see an old truck wasting away beside a garage, better check, because something the guy values a little more than the truck is wasting away behind closed doors.
