Wink I'm just saying...

Made a new friend in the hobby today who was active in the golden years. He told me about his cars [all long since gone]. LS-6 Chevelle, A-12 car, L88 Corvette and an L78 69 Camaro...probably a few more. He did business with Motion and Byrne Bros Chevy...

He told me his LS-6 car had aluminum heads when it was new

I know, it never happened...but, since you folks enjoy a lively discussion I thought I would mention it. He referred to the engine as an LS-7...

We are going to meet up pretty soon...he says he has photos and info from way back when...should be interesting

He could be right if it were a dealer converted car. Would not be the first 70 LS6 car I have heard of that had a transplanted LS7 installed. Share those photos!

I know this will not be believed, but I looked at an LS6 Chevelle around 1988-89, that had a buildsheet that far as I could tell was real, and it had L89, and in one of the upper areas a separate SPCL ORD Alum Hds.
The car was red and in North Carolina and had been sold to someone in FL. Not picked up yet by new owner.
I always hoped the car would surface again, but......anyway something to add to the discussion.
