68 SS Camaro from Dana???

I recently purchased the 68 SS Camaro in the attached photo. Unfortunately it had no motor or transmission as well as little documentation. However the license plate frame in the photo looks like a Dana Chevrolet frame. The car was also a unique color of powder blue (--- paint code) and had the name "Wild Turkey" painted onhe back of the spoiler. I am hoping that someone might recognize the car and maybe know who the original owner is. I bought the car from one of two brothers that owned the car from '74 until '09 and lived in Bakersfield.

Any luck with tracing the car back to its origin? Were you able to have further conversation with the gentleman who you purchased the car from in 2009?
