Wait ten years and 250 will seem like a bargain.

A properly done big block tanker with those options and without any Yenko heritage wouldn't sell for much less.

----Don't get me wrong as I love the car. Had a twin to it years ago, but with bright blue gut. But..."restored to pre-race trim" and hogged out rear wheel wells don't seem to me like they should be in the same add.

----And let me add that I still think its worth the "jack"!!!.....Bill S

I don't know that the Yenko connection on this car is strong other than Don Yenko offering the original owner (that is still with us) some advice on wheels and other racing tips. This car was on the track the same time as Don's car, also. This car didn't get ordered or delivered to Yenko and it wasn't prepared by Yenko in any way from what I understand.

This is a cool car, but remember that even though it appears that it came with all these good options, it has no factory paperwork to validate that it was an L72, M22 big tank car. It does have dealer paperwork, but that is not factory paperwork. I understand that the original VIN is on the original transmission case and the transmission is an M22, but these aluminum cases are all the same aside from the drain plug being taped on an M22 and the internal gears (and the input shaft). All these things can be changed to look like an M22 from an M20 or M21. In this case, the only tell tale sign that this is one of the very few original M22 transmission equipped cars is the VIN of the car on the case of a Muncie transmission. The original motor is gone from what I understand and what you would expect after years of racing in Europe.

It has a good European race history, no big wins and no famous racers. I also understand that it is very, very well restored.
