Default Valve Covers with Poly Locks for SBC

Looking for ideas on vintage style valve covers for SBC that will clear poly locks....

I guess that could work, was thinking maybe some vintage Edelbrock scripted ones too - just not sure if they would high enough, going for a bit of a Day 2 look on Danny's '67 Camaro....

You can broaden your valve cover selection by installing short poly locks.

Short locks with roller rockers on this one. I've done it with iron heads and aluminum heads which already have taller rails. Add a thicker gasket and you can hide the rockers with lower profile covers if you like.



I'd bet that short poly locks with thick gaskets would allow you to use the old scripted Edelbrock covers. I like the Holleys and MT's too.

I have the 9 finned aluminum Cal Customs on my AFR's. And they clear real nice with a single cork gasket
