I don't believe the two Silver W-30 hardtops discussed are the same cars?

I believe you are correct Stefano. My friend Dean’s car had buckets with a four-speed and no console. I recently noticed the car for sale on E-bay is a bench seat car upon looking at the photos closer. I believe Dean’s 1970 platinum & black Oldsmobile 442 W-30 4-spd coupe was more fully documented as well. He sold it through "The Volo Auto Museum" years ago in the mid 1990s. I believe he sold it to buy his 1972 green & white W-30 convertible auto. Not sure where the 1970 W-30 wound up though. My friend Mike Noun saw it when it was for sale at "The Volo Auto Museum". He said it was an absolutely beautiful car but said it had bucket seats & spoiler. Both cool cars nonetheless. These cars are stunning, the hood is second only to the 1967 427 Corvette hood.

The red convertible will be in the 'Muscle Car Review' display and the Silver Post will be in the B-Pillar display at MCACN.

The W-30 cars are quickly becoming my favorites, especially the convertibles. Only one more week and we'll be able to enjoy them and learn about them. Beautiful machines!

The Silver W-30 at RK, only has a broadcast card, which does not verify the status of it being a true 4 speed. Ironically the trans in that car is NOT numbers matching. Anyone interested in that car would be well advised to hire an expert.

I believe that I have found Dean's former W-30. Here is the line sheet from that car. The line sheet does verify the 4 speed status, W-30 status as well as other options.
