Default Barrett-Jackson Family Day and Pavilions

Lynn, Holly and I went to Barrett-Jackson Family Day to check out the cars on this rainy Saturday morning. There is always an amazing diversity of automobiles there...from rods to factory muscle. We saw some cars that belong to friends of ours. Daniel Schutzbank and his brother have a 1969 Z/28 that goes off on Saturday. Phil Silva has a Hemi Cuda convertible that is selling on Saturday (I think)...Craig Jackson was busy with local news station channel 12 and their reporter and film crew explaing about Phil's was cool hemi ragtop! David Marc Ochser looks like two of his Bandit Trans Ams are there for sale, too. Colin Comer and Cana Comer have a Bronco on display and we were able to sit a chat with them while their kids had some of their lunch, too. It was good to visit with them!

We also ate some yummy food from Renee Keene's concessions there....if you are looking for food while you are at Barrett-Jackson...look no further than their group!

Once we were done at Barrett-Jackson, we headed out to Pavilions with the threat of rain imminent...to check out the cars there. We met up with Grady Burch, Mike Angelo, Mike Guarise, Charley Lillard, Jean Werlein and Floyd, Gary Joseph Lawler, Kevin DeWitte, Larry Christiansen, Al Seiferd, John Ward, Shaun Price, Fred Mandrick, Mike Greenawalt, Fred Keonig and Sizzler Wayne. I am sure I am forgetting some people, too!

It started to rain about an hour after we got there...so we skedaddled out of there to come home and dry out! Enjoy the pics!!!

Yes Bruce.....this is the '72 Hurst/Olds Convertible Pace Car that I restored.
I certainly hope the space next to the car - just as in this picture is open.....as we need a table and chair for Linda Vaughn.

See everyone soon

Holly looks great
