I was with Brian this weekend at Ford Carlisle. They had an amazing collection of factory lightweight, SOHC and R code cars (and a factory drag racing pickup). Probably 40-50 in total.

I would think that we could do better with the Yenko display given how long Yenko was involved in hi performance car sales and his own racing career. I think it would be cool to try to get one of every color sYc Camaro, Chevelle and Deuce there, plus as many of the converted cars, race cars, etc. Would be quite the display and I bet we could best the phenomenal Hurst central display of two years ago...

Also, can one of the adminstrators make this a top of forum "sticky" thread so it doesn't get lost as time goes on? We need people to see it (and I don't even own a Yenko).

Confirmed over the weekend, another collection of Yenko memorabilia. This group of goodies includes quite a few items that have never been shown to the public from a private collection. The owner has agreed to join us and share these pieces of Yenko history November 17-18.

Just keeps getting better!

Confirmed this week; several VERY significant Yenko race Corvettes. Thanks go out to Kevin Mackay for jumping on board!

Please note; you must register to be a part of the display. Easiest way is to sign up through our website www.mcacn.com

We will also be doing special signage for this, so please provide information and history so we can tell the story of why these cars are so special.

Thanks/BA

Right now we are still gathering cars and memorabilia. Once the roster gets a little closer to the date, we will start to compile a timeline. We have some very interesting items to be displayed along side the cars. I am still waiting to hear back from a few guys and I have had many inquiries. We have heard back from lots of media that will be covering this event. One thing we are going to do is have a few Yenko cars that enthusiasts can get in and have a feel for what it is like sitting behind the wheel and have an opportunity to have pictures taken sitting in the cars. There will be a special participants only commemorative shirt and document for attending. It is shaping up to be a very special weekend. We are still looking for more owners and ideas to incorporate into the show...BKH
